Estheticians provide a variety of services in the skin care industry including basic and corrective facial treatment procedures, makeup applications, massage techniques, temporary hair removal and body treatment procedures. As skin care specialists, estheticians also perform advanced techniques provided in full-service salons and medical day spa environments, including microdermabrasion and alpha hydroxy acid peels.
