Student Senate
The official student government for Ridgewater College, Student Senate provides a student voice to campus administration and faculty, as well as governance for student clubs.
Governed by a constitution and bylaws, members of the Senate play a key role in representing the student body on a local and state level. The Senate also plans their own campus events and attends leadership conferences throughout the academic year.
Don’t hesitate to stop by our office and chat. The Senate would love to hear the good and the bad, whichever you are experiencing as you study here at Ridgewater. Let us know of anything that will improve your experience and quality of education.
Time Commitment
Section titled “Time Commitment”Student Senators commit two hours per week to Senate activities. They have a 1-hour Senate meeting and complete a 1-hour “office hour” for various Senate tasks each week.
