Student Achievement Outcomes
The nursing department at Ridgewater College is pleased to inform students, faculty, and the community about the program outcomes for its Practical Nursing (PN) Diploma program. Student achievement outcomes are regularly monitored in order to continually make program improvements: graduate completion rate, NCLEX-PN licensure pass rates, and job placement rate. The Practical Nursing program is delivered on both the Hutchinson and Willmar campuses.
Practical Nursing Graduate Completion Rate
Section titled “Practical Nursing Graduate Completion Rate”70% of students will complete the program within 100% of the stated program length (2 semesters of nursing courses).

NCLEX-PN Licensure Pass Rate
Section titled “NCLEX-PN Licensure Pass Rate”The program’s most recent annual licensure examination pass rate will be at least 80% for all first-time test-takers during the same 12-month period, noting calendar year per the MN Board of Nursing and academic year as assessed by the nursing department.
