Nursing - RN Associate Degree
Registered Nurses (RNs) play a crucial role in providing and supervising patient care, assessment and evaluation of patient interventions, documentation, collaboration with other members of the healthcare team, patient education, and much more.
The Associate Degree in Nursing is a two-year undergraduate program that prepares individuals to test for the NCLEX-RN to become RNs.
High-tech, hands-on simulation centers prepare students to work in clinics, hospitals, nursing homes, schools, and specialty clinics.

Application Process
Section titled “Application Process”- Apply to Ridgewater College, be admitted, and have “Pre-Nursing” as one of your majors.
- Attend a Nursing Information Session.
- Complete Semester One courses with a “C” or higher & earn a cumulative GPA of 2.5+ between
those three courses:
- PSYC 1310 – Intro to Psychology
- CHEM 1010 – Survey of Chemistry
- BIOL 2100 – Human Anatomy
- Score a 58.7+ on the ATI TEAS (Version 7).
- Review Holistic Admissions Criteria & work on experiences and attributes.
- Apply to the Nursing program
