Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Program
Emergency medical technicians help save lives in a wide variety of emergencies. They work closely with first responder squads, ambulance personnel and volunteer fire departments. The EMT Minnesota certification is a prerequisite for the Paramedic program.
Students learn skills in:
- Healthcare provider CPR
- Medical terminology and emergency services operations
- Basic Life Support (BLS) patient assessment, management and medication administration
- Critical thinking and therapeutic communication

Program Highlights
